U.S. equities had a mixed day, with gains in some sectors and losses in others at the close on Friday. The S&P 500 hit a new all-time high, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed and the Nasdaq fell. Top gainers included 3M Company, Walt Disney Company, and Verizon Communications Inc. On the other hand, Apple Inc, Walmart Inc, and Amgen Inc were among the biggest losers. In commodities trading, Gold Futures rose, while Crude oil and Brent oil both saw increases. The US Dollar Index Futures also showed an increase.
