Microsoft and OpenAI are teaming up for a massive data-centre project, including a $100 billion artificial intelligence supercomputer called “Stargate.” The project, expected to exceed $115 billion, will be financed by Microsoft over the next six years. The supercomputer, set for 2028, is part of a five-phase plan by the companies involving AI chip procurement.
