Cloud Software Group, Inc. and Microsoft Corp. announced an eight-year strategic partnership to enhance collaboration for the Citrix platform, including cloud and AI solutions. The deal includes a $1.65 billion commitment to Microsoft’s cloud and AI capabilities, strengthening the Citrix-Microsoft alliance.

Citrix is now the preferred Microsoft Global Azure Partner for Enterprise Desktop as a Service, providing tailored solutions for joint Azure customers. This partnership will accelerate customers’ cloud journeys, leveraging Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 within the Citrix platform.

The collaboration will offer modern procurement options through Azure Marketplace, making it easier for customers to evaluate, expand, or renew Citrix solutions. Cloud Software Group will move all employees to Microsoft 365, enhancing productivity and innovation in AI for joint go-to-market activities.
