Comcast has sold a record-breaking $1.2 billion in advertising for the upcoming Paris Olympic and Paralympic games, with over $350 million coming from new sponsors. OpenAI and Meta are set to release new AI models capable of reasoning and planning, with OpenAI’s GPT-5 expected to launch this summer. ByteDance, parent company of TikTok, reports a 60% profit jump in 2023, surpassing Tencent and Alibaba. Their new revenue sources include TikTok Shop, with plans to grow their US ecommerce business tenfold. The fate of TikTok in the US is pending Senate decision.
