Apple's iPhone 16 Pro to feature new lens coating technology and improved camera capabilities.

According to a leaker on the Naver blog, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models will feature a new anti-reflective optical coating technology to improve photo quality by reducing image artifacts. The devices may also include ALD equipment to reduce lens flare and ghosting, along with a tetraprism lens with up to 5x optical zoom.

Analyst Ming Chi Kuo previously mentioned that the base iPhone 16 Pro will have a 5x optical zoom lens, catering to sports and wildlife photographers. There are rumors of a larger image sensor for the main camera, potentially around 1/1.14 inches in size, exceeding the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max’s 1/1.28-inch sensor.
