Apple Inc. has removed AI image generator applications that created non-consensual nude images. Advertisements on Instagram led users to these apps, prompting Apple to take action. Instagram advertised these apps through Meta’s Ad Library, which were removed after being flagged. Apple removed three apps from the App Store after receiving detailed information. Although a positive step, Apple did not identify these policy-violating apps independently.
