McDonald’s is set to reveal first-quarter earnings with analysts expecting earnings per share of $2.72 and revenue of $6.16 billion. Disappointing Q4 sales were attributed to boycotts in the Middle East and other regions due to discounts for soldiers. Low-income customers in the U.S. are also spending less, leading to a 7.7% drop in McDonald’s shares this year.
