Eight U.S. newspapers including the Post Register are suing OpenAI and Microsoft for copyright infringement. The lawsuit alleges that the companies used copyrighted articles from the newspapers to train the ChatGPT AI model without permission. OpenAI and Microsoft have not yet commented on the matter.
