High-end fitness chain Equinox is launching the $40,000-per-year “Optimize” program, aiming to improve overall health and longevity. The program, created in partnership with Function Health, offers personalized health plans including personal training, nutrition, sleep coaching, and more.

Optimize members undergo 100 biomarker tests twice a year, focusing on various health aspects. Equinox provides a core team of experts including a fitness trainer, nutrition coach, sleep coach, and massage therapist for each member. The program includes 16 hours a month of coaching and training.

The new Optimize program will cost $3,000 per month for a minimum of six months, excluding the gym membership fee. Equinox recently closed a $1.8 billion funding round and plans to open new clubs in Philadelphia and Los Angeles soon. The program will initially be available in New York City and Texas.

Function Health aims to help people live to 100 healthy years. Their program costs $499, but they partner with Equinox due to the latter’s leadership in fitness and health programs. Function Health’s data complements Equinox’s personalized fitness plans, focusing on daily decision-making for overall health and longevity.
