Microsoft is developing a new AI model, MAI-1, to compete with Google and OpenAI. Led by ex-Google AI chief Mustafa Suleyman, MAI-1 boasts 500 billion parameters for advanced learning capabilities. This move signifies Microsoft’s strong commitment to AI, following the acquisition of Inflection for USD 650 million earlier this year.

Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of DeepMind and former Google executive, is spearheading Microsoft’s AI efforts.
