Microsoft announced a $3.3 billion investment in Wisconsin to boost AI innovation and economic growth. The initiative includes cloud computing development, a manufacturing-focused AI lab, and an AI skilling program. The four-part plan involves creating a data center campus, AI Co-Innovation Lab, upskilling residents, and supporting STEM education and employment programs. Additionally, a solar project partnership with National Grid is set to begin in 2027. Governor Evers praised the move as recognition of Wisconsin’s potential.
