An internal document reveals plans to lift the ban on Not Safe For Work content, potentially opening up an adults-only mode with a wider range of responses. This move could tap into the lucrative adult entertainment market through OpenAI’s API. However, challenges lie in ensuring responsible production to prevent abuse, such as creating pornographic images of real people without consent. The company already faces legal challenges, including copyright lawsuits, for allegedly training ChatGPT on scraped data.
