Apple is reportedly finalizing a deal with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT-powered features to iOS 18 on the iPhone. Talks with Google are ongoing. The AI features will be primarily on-device for privacy and speed benefits. An announcement is expected at WWDC in June. OpenAI is also developing its own AI voice assistant to compete with Siri and Google Assistant.
