Boeing delivery delays are causing significant financial losses for Lufthansa, according to CEO Carsten Spohr. While the setbacks are frustrating, Spohr believes Boeing will resolve the issues soon. Spohr emphasized the importance of having two strong aircraft providers, including Airbus. He dismissed the idea of purchasing Chinese aircraft due to safety concerns. Despite obstacles, Spohr remains hopeful about Lufthansa’s stake purchase in ITA Airways receiving regulatory approval and is unwilling to compromise transatlantic flights for it.
