Japanese technology giant SoftBank Group reported a net profit of 328.9 billion yen ($2.11 billion) for the January-March period, marking its second straight quarter of profit after years of volatile earnings and big tech investments. However, the Vision Fund investment unit booked a loss of 57.5 billion yen, signaling mixed results for the company. Chief Financial Officer Goto remains optimistic about a return to growth trajectory. Compared to a 32 billion yen loss a year earlier, SoftBank Group’s performance has improved significantly.
