Tech stocks saw mixed results with the XLK rising 0.3% and XSD climbing 1.2%, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor index added 0.9%. Amazon shares dipped 0.1% as CEO of AWS, Adam Selipsky, announced his departure and Matt Garman was named as his successor.

Alibaba shares dropped 7% after reporting weaker-than-expected earnings. Meanwhile, Oracle is in talks for a $10 billion deal to provide cloud servers to Elon Musk’s xAI startup, resulting in a 3% spike in Oracle shares.
