The First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge Smart Grid Infrastructure Index Fund ETF, GRID, experienced exceptionally high trading volume on Tuesday with over 794,000 shares traded compared to the average of 69,000 shares. The ETF’s shares rose by 1.1% during the day.
The top components of the ETF by volume on Tuesday were Tesla, up 3.3% with 86.0 million shares traded, and Nvidia, up 1.1% with 29.5 million shares traded. AMTD Digital performed the best, rising 12.9%, while Littelfuse lagged, dropping by 2.5%.
