In early trading, Microsoft leads the Dow Jones Industrial Average, up 0.9% with a year-to-date gain of 12.8%. Home Depot is the worst performer, down 1.3% today and 2.0% for the year.

UnitedHealth Group is down 0.9% while Amazon.com is up 0.8% in trading today. These are two other Dow components making moves.
