Ambarella, Inc. announced the latest generation of AI systems-on-chip (SoCs) for in-vehicle fleet telematics systems during AutoSens USA. The new CV75AX and CV72AX provide increased AI performance, efficiency, features, and compatibility with 5G modems. These SoCs feature Ambarella’s CVflow® 3.0 AI engine, 2x the CPU performance, LPDDR5 support with 2x the DRAM bandwidth, and a higher-speed USB 3.2 interface. Both SoCs are manufactured in Samsung Foundry’s 5nm FinFET process technology. CV75AX also introduces Vivid HDR technology and an ultra-low-power sleep mode for improved image quality and reduced power consumption.
