Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL) plans to expand its Domino’s Pizza outlets from 2,793 to over 5,500 across six global markets, including India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. Last year, JFL’s subsidiary acquired DP Eurasia, expanding its footprint beyond Asia. The stock has shown impressive profitability and lower volatility, making it an attractive investment option.
JFL aims to establish 4,000 Domino’s stores in India, up from its previous goal of 3,000. Currently, Domino’s India operates 1,995 stores across 421 cities, with 179 new stores added in the past year. The company reported a 23.9% increase in revenue and a remarkable 632% rise in profit for the March 2024 quarter, largely attributed to the DP Eurasia acquisition.
CEO and MD highlighted positive sales growth in Domino’s India in Q4, driven by strategic initiatives to enhance infrastructure, improve execution, revamp the brand, and offer targeted delivery fee waivers. This turnaround in sales, along with strong financial performance, positions JFL for further growth in emerging markets. Want to access important stock insights like these?
