Apple approves mass production of OLED screens for upcoming iPhone 16 models

Apple has given the green light for OLED mass production for the new iPhone 16 lineup, including the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, and 16 Pro. Samsung, LG, and BOE will be the suppliers for the OLED screens, with different models assigned to each manufacturer.

Samsung is set to receive final approval by the end of this month, while LG is expected to follow by mid-June. However, a decision is still pending for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Despite potential delays in display approvals, experts believe that the launch of the iPhone 16 series in early September will not be affected. The new models are expected to be released by mid-September or early October.
