Treasury yields caused stocks to close lower Wednesday, despite Nvidia’s rally. Dow fell 1.06%, S&P 500 dropped 0.74%, and Nasdaq decreased by 0.58%. Salesforce shares plunged over 15% after weaker-than-expected revenue but raised earnings guidance. ConocoPhillips agreed to purchase Marathon Oil, valued at $17 billion, expanding its reach across shale fields. Abercrombie & Fitch reported its strongest first quarter, with sales up 22% and profits almost seven times higher than last year. Nelson Peltz sold all of his Disney stock at about $120 a share, making about $1 billion.
