NVIDIA’s Omniverse, Isaac, and Metropolis are being used by major Taiwanese electronics manufacturers to create factory digital twins for simulation and optimization. This technology allows for autonomous operations, cost savings, and advanced robotics integration.

Delta Electronics, Foxconn, Pegatron, and Wistron are implementing this reference workflow to build, simulate, and operate their robotics-enhanced facilities. By utilizing NVIDIA technology, these companies can improve safety, efficiency, and production capabilities within their factories.

Foxconn demonstrated the use of NVIDIA Omniverse for developing digital twins of its factories, optimizing layouts, and training autonomous mobile robots. This integration of AI and robotics is revolutionizing manufacturing by enhancing safety and driving operational efficiencies.

Delta Electronics is leveraging NVIDIA Isaac Sim and OpenUSD to generate synthetic data for training computer vision models in its production lines. Pegatron is connecting its factory digital twin workflow to NVIDIA NeMo and NIM for real-time communication between factory operators.

Wistron has utilized NVIDIA Omniverse to accelerate production, test layouts, and increase worker efficiency by over 50%. The integration of Omniverse and Metropolis allows for real-time monitoring and optimization of factory operations, leading to significant improvements in cycle times.

Kenmec, a leading systems integrator in Taiwan, is already implementing Omniverse and Metropolis workflows for major manufacturers such as Giant Group. These digital twin workflows are available as a reference architecture series to help developers across the ecosystem optimize their operations.

The latest updates to NVIDIA Isaac offer new models and workflows for creating, designing, and deploying robotics applications. For more information and insights on AI and industrial digitalization, watch Huang’s COMPUTEX keynote.
