AMD unveils high-performance Ryzen 9000 processors for desktops and AI laptops

At Computex, AMD unveiled new AI chips to compete against Nvidia and Intel, including the Ryzen AI 300 series for next-gen AI laptops and Ryzen 9000 processors for desktops. Developed with Microsoft, the chips will power laptops with Microsoft’s AI chatbot Copilot, boasting impressive specs and based on Zen 5 architecture.

The Ryzen 9000 Series processors, set to launch in July 2024, offer high-performance options for both DIY customers and SI partners. The Ryzen 9 9950X features 16 cores, 32 threads, 80MB cache, and 5.7GHz boost speed, positioning it as the world’s fastest consumer PC processor alongside other powerful options like the Ryzen 9 9900X, Ryzen 7 9700X, and Ryzen 5 9600X.
