Intel launched its new Xeon server processors, crucial in regaining data center market share from AMD. The new processors are more powerful and efficient, significantly reducing the need for server racks. The Gaudi 3 AI accelerator chips are priced at $125,000 for 8 chips, much lower than Nvidia’s offerings, and will be available soon. Intel also announced its next-generation laptop chip, Lunar Lake, which boasts a 40% power reduction and powerful AI processor set for a third-quarter release.
