German enterprise cloud leader SAP has partnered with NVIDIA to leverage generative AI and industrial digital twins in developing next-gen enterprise applications. At SAP’s Sapphire event in Orlando, they introduced new capabilities for SAP’s generative AI copilot Joule, including SAP Consulting capabilities and ABAP Developer capabilities.

To streamline selling and buying complex products, SAP is integrating NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud APIs into its Intelligent Product Recommendation solution. This allows salespeople to visualize 3D product digital twins directly in SAP Intelligent Product Recommendation, saving time, costs, and improving efficiency and safety.

NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang and SAP CEO Christian Klein highlighted the importance of generative AI in business operations. The companies announced their AI-focused collaborations at GTC in March, showcasing the value of language models in understanding specialized business processes.

SAP announced new consulting capabilities for Joule at SAP Sapphire, incorporating NVIDIA NeMo Retriever microservices to enhance productivity. NVIDIA-powered AI will assist SAP consultants and developers to access the latest product and process details through Joule’s AI-powered capabilities.

SAP is utilizing NVIDIA AI and Omniverse to optimize sales processes for manufacturers, offering recommendations for suitable configurable products and quicker quote generation for sales teams. The integration of NVIDIA AI in SAP’s Intelligent Product Recommendation software allows for customized recommendations based on specific parameters like power requirements and lead times.
