Concerns about a cooling US economy kept risk appetite low. Meanwhile, in the US, stocks rebounded as job vacancies hit their lowest level since 2021. The S&P 500 rose 0.15%, the Dow Jones gained 0.4%, and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.2%. In the bond market, the 10-year Treasury yield fell to 4.33% from 4.39% on Monday. The decline in stock prices was driven by a tightening labor market and speculation about a Federal Reserve rate cut in September.
