Indian shares opened higher on Thursday as investors anticipate Modi 3.0. Sensex rose 303 points to 74,685.68, while Nifty50 surged 76 points to 22,696.40. NTPC, SBI were top gainers, and Nestle, HUL were laggards. Nifty SmallCap jumped 2.5%, MidCap rose 1.50%. Nifty Realty led sector gains at 2.98%, followed by PSU Bank (2.62%) and Media (2.02%). Global markets also saw an upward trend, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 rising 1.02% and South Korea’s Kospi up by 1.03%. US markets closed higher, with Dow Jones up 0.25%, S&P 500 by 1.18%, and Nasdaq Composite by 1.96%.
