Auto stocks boost Nifty to record high, Eicher Motors surges while Tech Mahindra sees losses.

The Nifty 50 reached a new all-time high of 23,490.40, closing at 23,465.60 with a 0.29% increase. Eicher Motors surged 2.78% while Tech Mahindra saw the biggest loss in the session.

Eicher Motors gained the most, rising to ₹4935.10, followed by M&M at ₹2928.60 and Adani Ports at ₹1430.70.

Tech Mahindra experienced the largest drop by 1.26%, with TCS, Wipro, HCLTech, and SBI also dipping. HCLTech fell after Jefferies expressed caution.
