Elon Musk announced that Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer will provide servers for his xAI company to build a $500 million supercomputer in Buffalo, NY, and another in Austin, TX. Musk’s xAI is a challenger to Microsoft-backed OpenAI and Alphabet’s Google for AI development. Dell CEO Michael Dell confirmed plans to create a “Dell AI factory” with Nvidia to power Musk’s AI bot Grok. Musk co-founded OpenAI and is working on innovative AI projects with xAI to advance technology in the industry.
