Stocks slip ahead of PMI data, Dow up, S&P and Nasdaq down at open

The Nasdaq and Dow Jones slipped at the open on Friday, with focus on business survey data for more insight into the world’s largest economy. The Dow rose 73.75 points to 39,208.51, while the S&P 500 opened lower by 6.40 points at 5,466.77. The Nasdaq dropped 40.58 points to 17,681.01 at the opening bell.
