Bitcoin ETFs Continue Bleeding — $140 Million Outflow Registered By U.Today

Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a $140 million outflow on June 20, marking the fifth consecutive day of BTC losses. Grayscale’s ETF lost $53.1 million, while BlackRock’s IBIT faced a $1.4791 million outflow. IBIT currently holds $17.643 billion in BTC holdings.

In the past five days, Grayscale lost $232 million, still lower than Fidelity’s $413 million loss. Bitcoin price gradually dropped by 5.2% this week to $63,880. Meanwhile, a smart whale transferred 660 BTC to Binance for sale, with previous profitable trades of over $30 million each.

The whale previously traded 718 BTC, bought between August and November 2020, selling in December for a $9 million profit (+43%). A second trade involved 1,181 BTC bought between February and May 2021, sold for $21.2 million (+37%) on May 27 and June 20.
