Tech stocks fell in the afternoon, but Apple shares rose after an upgrade by Rosenblatt.

Tech stocks, including XLK and XSD, dipped in the afternoon, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor index falling 0.7%. Meanwhile, Apple’s AAPL shares rose 2% after an upgrade by Rosenblatt to buy and a price target increase to $260 from $196.

Ocean Power Technologies saw its OPTT shares soar 38% following a deal for providing Wave Adaptive Modular Vehicles to a US government department. Rapid7, under pressure from activist investor Jana Partners, may be looking to sell, causing its RPD shares to jump 7.1%. GitLab’s GTLB shares also rose 12% after amending its severance plan.
