Mizuho Securities analysts discussed Nvidia’s strong performance in the AI supply chain, highlighting tight demand for H100 and H200 GPUs. The company is set to launch its Blackwell platform, with the B100 in September or October, foreseeing continued growth until 2025. Priority allocation for NVL36/72 servers could boost data center revenue.
However, challenges for Nvidia include the need for experienced engineers to install advanced servers and costs for direct liquid cooling installations in data centers. AMD also plays a vital role in the data center and AI supply chain, selling out MI300X capacity for 2024 and seeking additional supply from TSMC to meet demand.
Intel plans to increase shipments of Granite Rapids in Q1 2025, aiming to improve core count and performance to compete with AMD. Mizuho experts note strong pricing trends in DRAM and HDD/SSD markets, projecting price increases of 5-10% into JunQ and further growth into 2H24E. HBM content is expected to grow 100% y/y into 2025, benefiting memory chipmakers like Micron.
