China stocks bounced back as the 2024 U.S. presidential debate showed little criticism against China, easing nervous investors. CSI300 closed up 0.2%, despite opening lower. The Aviation Industry Aerospace Defence Index rose 3.5%. Software company Wisesoft Co Ltd shares surged 10% amid speculation of a Trump win. Biden and Trump’s tough trade stance with China was discussed during the debate. Markets were awaiting key U.S. inflation data later in the day.
