OpenAI’s CTO Mira Murati predicts that creative jobs may become obsolete due to advancements in Artificial Intelligence. She believes this can lead to positive outcomes, claiming these jobs “maybe shouldn’t have been there in the first place.” In a recent interview at Dartmouth University, Murati addressed concerns about AI replacing humans in certain roles.

Murati emphasizes the importance of utilizing AI as a tool for education and creativity, stating that it can expand our intelligence and imagination. Pew Research suggests that AI could easily replace tasks related to human thinking, such as creative thinking, information processing, and computer work. A report from the University of Pennsylvania highlights professions like mathematicians, writers, accountants, and journalists as those most at risk of being replaced by AI.
