ASML Holding (ASML) received approval to expand its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Veldhoven, Netherlands, despite opposition from local residents. The semiconductor company’s stock was up by 0.6% in premarket trading.
Microsoft (MSFT)-backed OpenAI experienced a security breach last year that was not disclosed publicly or reported to authorities, as revealed by The New York Times. Microsoft’s stock was down by 0.1% before the market opened.
Ericsson (ERIC) announced a non-cash impairment charge of 11.4 billion Swedish kroner ($1.09 billion) in Q2, citing lower expected market growth rates in Vonage’s portfolio. The company’s stock was up by 0.5% in premarket trading.
