Microsoft, Apple, and Nvidia have become the world’s only companies to surpass $3 trillion in market capitalization. With the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to boost the global economy significantly, forecasts predict that Oracle and Alphabet could become two of the most valuable companies in the next decade, driven by their AI capabilities.

Goldman Sachs believes AI could create $7 trillion in economic activity within the next decade, while PwC predicts an addition of $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, with Ark Investment Management forecasting a productivity explosion worth $200 trillion from AI software like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Oracle, valued at $399 billion, offers industry-leading AI infrastructure and AI-produced revenue is included in the company’s record $98 billion remaining performance obligations. With Oracle Cloud Infrastructure developing new data centers, Oracle’s market cap could potentially surpass $3 trillion in the future.

Alphabet, valued at $2.3 trillion, faces AI disruptions to its core business by AI chatbots like ChatGPT. Despite this, it launched the Gemini family of AI models and offers AI data center infrastructure and large language models on Google Cloud, positioning the company as a strong player in the AI market.
