The S&P/ASX 200 Index surged on Monday, with CSL Ltd shares leading the charge. The index hit a new record high of 8,037.3 points, breaking through the 8,000-point mark. CSL shares also soared to a 52-week high of $311, closing the day at $308.56, up 0.64%.

CSL’s share price has risen by 7.03% in 2024 and 19.22% over the past 12 months. Despite hitting $311 for the first time in a year, CSL has yet to reach its all-time high of $342.72 set in early 2020. Brokers are bullish on CSL, expecting significant earnings growth and a share price target of $330. Investors eagerly await CSL’s future performance.
