The U.K. High Court issues approved judgment and injunctions in lawsuit involving Craig Wright, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.
Judge James Mellor concluded injunctions sought by COPA, allowing Wright to plead defenses but not pursue a counterclaim. First injunction refers to anti-suit injunction, preventing Wright from relitigating the case.
Other injunctions include preventing Wright from claiming rights, publishing statements implying he is Satoshi, and mandating deletion of such statements. Wright ordered to pay COPA’s costs, with 85% as interim payment threshold.
Judge Mellor refers Wright to Crown Prosecution Service for perjury charges. Judge previously deemed Wright not to be Bitcoin creator, finding him untruthful during court process.
