Kraken crypto exchange received 48,641 BTC from Mt. Gox, valued at $3.1 billion, for distribution to creditors. Acknowledged by Kraken, repayment will begin in 7-14 days based on trustee instructions.

Mt. Gox transferred $2.4 billion BTC to undisclosed wallet, signaling fund distribution preparation. Arkham notes $2.74 billion BTC still with Mt. Gox from today’s transfer, providing relief to creditors awaiting recovery.

Bitcoin dropped to $62,000 range from $65,000 after Mt. Gox’s transfer, investor concerns of potential sell-off. BTC now trading at $63,720 in response to the developments.
