Tech stocks see decline on Friday, with XLK, XSD, and semiconductor index all dropping

Tech stocks saw a decline on Friday afternoon, with XLK down 1.6% and XSD slumping 2.9%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index also fell by 3%. SunPower shares plummeted by 57% after a downgrade by Mizuho.

Oracle agreed to settle a lawsuit for $115 million for violating California’s privacy laws. CrowdStrike shares dropped over 11% after a global IT disruption caused by an update for Microsoft Windows operating systems. Wipro shares fell over 11% due to reported Q1 revenue missing estimates.
