The Fed meeting is expected to result in unchanged interest rates, but data showing inflation could lead to a September rate cut. Job openings decreased, but consumer confidence rose. Microsoft is set to report earnings, followed by Meta Platforms and Apple. JetBlue and PayPal saw stock increases, while Merck fell after cutting guidance. Pfizer rose after strong COVID vaccine sales.
