Nasdaq Futures Tumble on Weak U.S. Tech Earnings and Growth Fears, Jobs Report in Focus

September Nasdaq 100 E-Mini futures are down -1.81% amid fears of a U.S. slowdown. Amazon and Intel reported disappointing Q2 results, causing their stocks to plummet over -9% and -21% in pre-market trading, respectively. C.H. Robinson Worldwide and Meta Platforms saw gains. Key economic data showed U.S. ISM manufacturing index falling to 46.8 in July. U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls data and earnings reports from Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Enbridge, and Church & Dwight are awaited today. France’s and Italy’s industrial production data were also released. Asian stock markets closed in the red, led by declines in China’s Shanghai Composite Index and Japan’s Nikkei 225 Stock Index.
