Stavros Liaskos creates 3D replicas of Greek cultural sites allowing virtual exploration of over 30 sites. Using a variety of content creation apps connected with Omniverse, Liaskos preserves architectural beauty digitally. His workflow includes 3D scanning with Trimble X7, modeling in Autodesk 3ds Max and Blender, texturing with Adobe Photoshop and Substance 3D, and real-time lighting in Omniverse. Accelerated by NVIDIA RTX A4500 GPU.

Liaskos’ extended his projects to XR applications for real-time navigation in VR. Detailed geometries and textures captured through laser scanning and photogrammetry. Retopology done with Autodesk 3ds Max and Maxon ZBrush. XR scenes packaged for streaming to VR headsets using NVIDIA Omniverse Create XR spatial computing app or Unity Engine for immersive viewing experiences. Project showcases architectural beauty and cultural significance of historical sites.
