Tech stocks rallied on Thursday afternoon, with XLK up by 3.5% and XSD surging 6.5%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index also spiked 6.2%. ChargePoint shares rose over 9.4% after announcing its new Omni Port product for electric vehicles.

Google and Meta secretly targeted teens with ads on YouTube and Instagram, causing Alphabet and Meta shares to rise. The UK’s competition authority is investigating Amazon’s partnership with Anthropic, boosting Amazon shares.
