The yacht, called the Bayesian, capsized at 4 a.m. after being struck by a violent storm. Lynch’s wife survived, but one man died, and six people, including Lynch’s daughter, are missing. Morgan Stanley International chairman, Jonathan Bloomer and others are also missing.
Lynch, once nicknamed “Britain’s Bill Gates,” founded Autonomy in 1996, becoming one of Britain’s biggest tech firms. He was acquitted of fraud charges in a surprise victory earlier this year after being accused of inflating the company’s value in a sale to HP.
