High option trading volume for COIN, XOM, and PZZA

Today, Coinbase Global Inc (COIN) saw a total volume of 60,522 contracts traded, representing 6.1 million shares. This activity accounts for 78.8% of COIN’s average daily trading volume. The $210 strike call option expiring August 30, 2024, had particularly high volume with 4,359 contracts traded.

Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM) had options trading volume of 85,358 contracts, equivalent to 8.5 million shares or 65% of the average daily trading volume. The $125 strike call option expiring September 20, 2024, saw significant activity with 9,879 contracts traded.

Papa John’s International, Inc. (PZZA) had options trading volume of 7,900 contracts, representing around 790,000 shares or 64% of the average daily trading volume. The $42.50 strike put option expiring September 20, 2024, had high volume with 1,167 contracts traded.
