Energean reports 245% profit increase and 47% revenue growth in first half

Energean plc’s first half profit before tax soared by 245% to $162 million, with adjusted EBITDAX reaching $568 million. Revenues for the half-year ended 30 June 2024 hit $867 million, up 47% from last year, driven by Israel sales. Group production also rose by 38% to 146 kboed. Revenue from continuing operations increased by 71% to $643 million, with Israel accounting for 94% of it. The company adjusted its group production guidance to 155 – 165 kboed for 2024.
