Indian shares saw modest gains as traders were cautious about potential rate cuts by the Federal Reserve. The Sensex rose 0.2% to 81,714, while the Nifty climbed 0.3% to 25,003. Adani Ports signed an agreement for a port project, pushing its stock up 2%. BPCL and IOC were awarded concessions in Abu Dhabi, resulting in a 1% increase in their shares. Vedanta raised $900 million through bonds, leading to a 1.1% increase. Engineers India secured new orders worth Rs 4,681 crore, causing its stock to jump 3%. ONGC and Tata Steel also saw gains, while Tata Motors dropped 1.2%.
